Patrol Combat Covtte (PCC)
Overview
The Patrol Combat Covtte is a battleship next to FFK in size, taking up coastline patrol as its major mission. PCCs can be largely divided into Dong-hae class and Pohang class, and were divided and built amongst 4 shipyards: Korea Shipbuilding Corporation, Hyundai Heavy Industries, Daewoo Shipbuilding, and Korea Takoma.

The Pohang class can be divided into anti-submarine, anti-ship, and anti-aircraft, according to the equipment it possesses.
The anti-ship warfare is improved and modified by EXOCET anti-ship missiles; the anti-submarine ships the sonars, torpedoes and charges; and the anti-aircraft ships the fire control equipment.
The Dong-hae class is being evaluated as an excellent 1000-ton patrol Craft as it has anti-submarine abilities equivalent to those of the Ulsan class, and a wide range of weapons.
